My photography journey started years ago, when I was "the one" that always had a camera with her.... no we didn't have a camera on our phones back then.  I found that photography was a creative outlet for me and I had always dreamed to own my own photography business.  After attending college, completing the photography program, I was fortunate to be mentored by a  well known local Wedding Photographer.  I learned all aspects of the photography business, shooting as a second photographer under my mentors name. My love for photography along with my skills grew tremendously during this time and when my mentor retired I opened my own successful photography business specializing in

Weddings, Family Portraiture, Senior Photos and Special Event Photography.  I had the pleasure of  providing my

clients with photos from some of the most important moments in their lives and I loved my job.

  

It was with a heavy heart in 2010 that I made the difficult decision to put the camera down professionally for a bit.  My daughter was a young rodeo athlete, I was a single mom at this point and it was necessary for me to be available on the weekends to travel and evenings to attend practices & haul horses around to support HER dreams and goals.  I missed shooting weddings and portrait work, but still always seemed to have a camera in my hand.  I would jump at the chance when

someone would approach me to shoot their son or daughters' senior photos or a family session.  I always said

I would fall back on my roots one day and reopen my business, and that is exactly what I did!

 

​Early this year I purchase all new equipment, throughly educated myself with the latest digital technology, and

I am thrilled to be back behind the camera creating memories for you, here in beautiful Sonoma County.
